Well, it looks like all nine of my egg laying ducks made it through the winter uneaten. I originally bought so many because February around here typically has hungry predators on the prowl. But, they seem to have made it okay. Although, we did tragically lose a loved house cat pet just a few days ago.
Anyhow, net result is that I am up to my eyeballs in duck eggs! Which is fine because the excess older than a week or so is converted into dog food and fed to our large dogs (A Great Pyrenees and a Newf Lab mix).
